Why have I chosen this track and artist?
In my music video I will be protesting against drugs therefore this song provides the lyrics to support my message there are references to drugs and depression 'the things that are deadly, The way I'm drinkin' you down'.

Most songs tend to promote or glorify the use of drugs however this song is conforming to the purpose of my music video of showing the effects of drugs.

Billie Eilish spoke to Rolling Stone about her mental heath, saying she experienced depression from ages 13 to 16, which involved self harm 
The lyrics explore the darker side to her character, how people have to fight the 'monsters' under their bed, they have to fight the urge/ the peer pressure employing them to consume drugs and alcohol. 

Eilish said some of her friends had died due to drug overdose, meaning this is a very personal subject to her.
