Paper planes- MIA  Music video analysis  All the elements within the song interplay with the theme of immigration. The song was intended to criticise widespread negative stereotypes associated with immigrants. Through the lyrics and the video, MIA satirizes the stereotypes constructing immigrants as violent malingerers. Final Statement of Intent The elements that will make my music video part narrative is the use of actors, the links between the lyrics of the song and the content of the music video. The music video will be structured like a story that has the purpose of spreading awareness of the negative effects of drugs. Narrative music videos are more engaging for the audience. The two settings in my music video will include, the inside a house in the living room, kitchen and dining room, all of which will have objects such as flowers and food that are subject to my chosen colour scheme.
